Adding
text
To add overlay
text, select the slide in
the storyboard panel and then select the
'Text&
Images' tab option on the
left.
The decorations top panel is split
into two sections. The first tab allows you to add text to the
slide including setting the font, justification, color, and various
drawing styles.
To add new text to the
slide, make sure the
'Text' tab is
selected then left click on the ‘Add
text’ button or alternatively double
click over the slide in the preview panel where you wish the text
to appear.
Once you are edit text mode (a
black border around the text with a flashing cursor), simply type
in the text you wish to add. To stop editing the text simply left
click on a different part of the slide.
If you wish to re-edit a piece of
text, either:- double click over the text, select the text then
left click 'Edit text' or right click over the text and
select 'Edit text'.
To move, re-size or change the
style of a text decoration, left click over it. This will then
bring up a dotted tracker around it. You can now move it by
dragging it to the desired location, resize/rotate it by dragging
the yellow tracker markers or change it's appearance by selecting
the appropriate option in the left panel.
